In AQU's 6th race today, ten fillies will travel 1 1/16th on the grass course.

I like #5 Watsdachances (5-2) in this race. She simply towers over the competition. She races competitively in G1/G2 grass features, but now Chad Brown tries to sharpen her up with a prep for next season in a Listed Stakes. She might get a pretty solid trip and pace, breaking from the five post, and excellent journeyman Javier Castellano jumps on board. The last race she ran was a brilliant performance, and off a layoff, she seems destined for a win here.

Hmm... decent win, I guess. I bet $93, brought back $110, which turns out to be a $17 profit. I think wagering-wise, I could have done better. I was anticipating Watsdachances to be better odds, since I was betting in advance (because of the Play of the Day), so I don't regret the show saver bet. I don't understand the point of wasting $18 on a place bet (exacta) in this scenario. Lesson learned. I did not gain much money, but then again, it was not a large wager. Overall, I brought back 118% (breaking even would be 100%) and profited $17. Hey, at least it is a win :)
