Hi all!

 

Welcome back to another edition of Horse Racing Preview!  This week's feature comes to us from good ol' Aqueduct!  So you know that can only mean I'm talking about the good ol' Cigar Mile Handicap!

 

This is Race 8, set for of course one mile on the dirt, carries a purse of $500,000, and is restricted to 3-year-olds and up!

 

Let's take a look at the field:

If Groupie Doll can stalk oh so nicely like she did in the Breeders' Cup to pull off her big vic, then I think she should be able to put this field away and come out on top.  She proved that, despite a couple of lackluster tries as of late, she is truly the champ by winning back to back Breeders' Cups, so I think that she should be ready this time to bring it to the boys and show 'em who's boss.

 

Nextie!  Saratoga Snacks is almost flawless!  Only one second and one third in a pool of wins.  This horse is truly on fire.  Win after win and the distance doesn't matter to him.  He does whatever he's told and does it well.  Saratoga Snacks can stalk, he can front run, he's got this!

 

Lastie!  Goldencents looks like the best of the rest.  He rode out last time at the same distance and even with the same jock, Rafael Bejarano.  And his prior starts look great, too!
