ajump08 · Has anyone noticed the resemblance that Archarcharch's pedigree shares with Blame. Both are sons of Arch. Both damsires, Woodman and Seeking the Gold, are by Mr. Prospector out of a Buckpasser mare. If thats not enough they both also share the same granddam sire in Nureyev. Its almost scary how similar these pedigrees are. Blame did what AAA's going to try to do exactly 6 months to the day prior, at the same track, at the same distance. Most of these had valid excuses to lose, and if you think about it, some of the most dominating TC participants were ordinary coming into the Derby or had lost a prep or two. Arch3 seems to be a tough colt, he does not only have 3 preps but 4, and only really disappointed in one. Since then he's been very consistent. · 760 days ago ·

mikemoss13 · I am glad that someone is saying that maybe, just maybe, Jon Court has timed his runs to hit the wire perfectly in the Southwest and the Ark Derby. Visually, it appeared he was getting caught at the wire, but he still go there first. It's not like he was an early speed horse who was fading. I look for Court and A3 to make another strong move up the stretch at Churchill. And with a lot of the speed pulling out of the race, they'll be much closer than they were in the Arkansas Derby. I'm STILL on this horse to win, it's just that my 'other' horses keep changing. Nice, nice article. Thanks. · 760 days ago ·

njtrader · He didn't look like he was tiring to me. Court was simply easing the horse up at the end of the race. However, I think Nehro looked great and goes on to the derby and does big things. It was absurd that The Factor went off at 4-5, he was a horse I was very fond of but he was never a sure thing. This race was all about value and 25-1 was a steal on a good horse. And again Elite Alex takes an immense amount of money, what is wrong with you people?? Sway Away was deserving of those odds but he needs to shorten up in distance for sure. Even J P Gusto had outrageous odds at 33-1, and yes he burned himself out, but he offered value at that price. · 769 days ago ·

Unfortunately, the expert handicappers only included him once as an individual betting interest (pool2) as opposed to 3 times for the highly touted (yes, he was touted by many public handicappers!). Well, I'm not bragging, but did put a few $$$ on ARCH3 at 50-1. Nice payday if he goes on to win the real derby. If not, had a few dollars on him to win yesterday.
