notobsessed · Cocoa, by announce I meant being the person at he desk that hosts live racing, which she does on weekdays and Sundays. SHe interviews jockeys, owners and trainers and is pretty good at handicapping, better than most of the other TVG guys. Simon Bray is really good at evaluating horse when he sees them live trackside before the race. · 163 days ago ·

travel_vic · Do you have any idea what upgrading to HD cameras would cost the provider? Each tower can now is over 18-20,000 and that is just the straight digital ones. Usually the racing organization "farms out" the video production to a sub-contractor and then they bill the racing organization monthy......You are talking some big bucks that many a race course cannot do right now · 163 days ago ·

travel_vic · I have never seen HRtv but I\'ll tell you that TRV is without a doubt, the worst coverage of horse racing I EVER watched. PLEASE, the crowd watching is far more sophisticated than the talking heads out there. One thing NONE of these analysts do, is ever evaluate the interactions, repeat INTERACTIONS of the racing styles in a contest but constantly talk about them separately.
