Winplacsho · I was just looking at this race. I like Battle Hardened if he goes in this spot. He was wide the whole way last out & still fought on. Think he gets a stalking inside trip here, but if runs at GP, I'll lean with Prospective since he has a race over the track, even though he was really grinding to beat a field, in which only 1 other competitor returns in this race. · 472 days ago ·

Not for nothing but im sure you have all noticed my loyalty to Derek Ryan horses. Since my loosing tout of Sammzilla I have not bet or given out any of his horses! Funny thin is if you look at Derek Ryans record since then he has 4 winners and a 2nd in 6 starts!!! My only conclusion for this is that there Truly is a racing God and he does not like me!!!!!

nayla1268 · Imagine, you grow up 5 minutes from Belmont park,used to cut school to make the early double, and dreamed of owning arace horse,let alone a great race horse!. This was Musket Man!! Even though was not the owner and have no stake in him,he was my great race horse! It turns out a couple of friends of mine got together and bought a horse named Rouge Agent weho went on to make them a few dollars. after sell him Eric Fein bought MM and the rest is history! I have talked up a storm on HRN about MM and I dont regret it! Musket Man odviously was a news worthy race horse.Just the fact that HRN has reported his retirement! icyhotboo · Musket Man is a nice steady working man's horse but I keep hearing that same thing, he set the Whitney up compromisising his chance.The fractions for the whitney were 24.42, 48.06 and 1:11.92, in other words a walk in the park,and he burned himself out at 1-1/8 mile race,are you kidding? As for blame he caught a great miler who can't even get in the extra 70 yards let alone an 1/8 or a 1/4 so why is Quality Road entered? mike · congrats to Derek Ryan for finally sticking up to these juice trainers and to these jockeys who dont even give an effort in these races...He was totally right.... Dominguez rides for both and he was certainly not gonna screw with these trainers and lose possible future business... He rode the race like an apprentice... Ryan , Maragh and I guess the owner of MM had the balls to take the race to QR and not ride for second... And another thing ,, Ryan should have told the reporter that Blames crew owes them a thank you for pushing the pace alittle otherwise they go 50 to the half and Blames looking for his mother in the race.... Great job MM crew for trying to win a race.. and its about time somebody takes it to these juicers and figures out what drugs there using and suspends them for good,,,,, in most sports altering the outcome of a sporting event is a felony.... mike · I saw the race my friend blindadosalas... he broke through gate but didnt run of... they let him run because he was fine... the problem was the jockey.. he was strangling horse down the backstretch if you saw.. he totally took Haynesfield out of his running style and also Musket man out of his... QR actually after watching race numerous times did stink... I never heard of people complaining about a jockey who slows down the pace and wins.....Johnny V rode the horse perfectly...Maragh rode to win , Dominguez rode like an apprentice and Gomez got lucky that there was any pace otherwise he doesnt win..No knock on Blame hes a real nice horse.... Tell Mr. Ryan might not be as fussy and if you want to go further than what good has achieved in his career, to look for Bob Baffert or go to the grave of Sunny Jim Fitzsimmons Thanks ....
