I've been watching your horses and am very impressed. You have done a great job. I've been trying to find out if we're related. That's because I was raised by my maternal grandparents and never knew any relatives from the Englehart side of my family. As a huge thoroughbred racing fan, I just thought it would be great knowing that I was related to a thoroughbred trainer. I have loved the sport of horse racing for my entire life and usually follow the races at Santa Anita and Hollywood Park because I'm a huge Mike Smith fan. When I started watching TVG, that's when I first saw a horse trained by someone with the last name Englehart. It made me wonder so I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. I was born, raised and still reside in Lancaster County PA. I don't know much about my paternal family except a few small pieces of info and that is why I'm trying to piece it all together. Anyway thanks for reading this and I wish you great success.

joe_depaolo · Despite the quick turnaround, Who's The Cowboy, looks to have a pretty square chance in that race tomorrow (The Schosberg horse proabably looms the main danger, though you can never count out Dominguez-Asmussen/Sheets). Still, win or lose tomorrow, it's already a most impressive streak. But Brian, I think there is something to be learned from the lack of comments in this post, as your posts typically do great traffic and generate lively discussions in the comment sections. The race fan, understandably, is skeptical. Though it's an admittedly small sample size, Englehart's statistics are a huge outlier. Though this streak is most impressive, the race fan can't be blamed for failing to be giddy about an accomplishment they're not sure is on the level. Now, other then the numbers, there's no reason to be suspicious. So he ought to get the benefit of the doubt. For the sake of the sport, we all hope he's on the level.
