|sallyeastman Oh sure, I know that CC is the glam horse of the Spring Thoroughbred Couture Season....I get that....yet somehow I'm not convinced that he will put aw... morey all of the challengers in the manner of a Big Brown Favorite this KD.....something tells me we are more likely to see an upset a al Charismatic, Animal Kingdom or Monarchos.....watch the replays of all the preps .....there is one out there in Prepland who will eventually best the Cal baby! I just hope that the masses don't bet down Wicked Strong to fave status by race time bc that's the one I think who is going to nab CC.....any thoughts, racing fans???????

|KourtneyIsaOreo You can't really predict what will happen with Ring Weekend. He seems to be an off and on type of horse. We'll just have to wait and see.
|KourtneyIsaOreo I think he can go the diistance, but we'll see how he does in the upcoming derby.
|SSilence86 Constitution is OUT of the Derby due to a hairline fracture of the right front cannon bone. He had a work on Sunday, breezing a half in :50 3/5, and i... more was discovered he was off his right foreleg Monday. Per WinStar.

|nihalitor With a little more than quarter mile left in the Arkansas Derby I hope Calvin shakes the reigns and sucks the other jockeys helmets off their heads. L... moret the Titan roll this horse just has to make it to Churchill somehow. When at Churchill he seems ro be a very focused animal and I honestly look for him to right there with them at the end. Good Luck my friend ... Calvin lets make it 4 in 14 brother and release the Cracken.

|eddieran I hate to speculate, but no news on WB appears to be bad news. I saw him race Corfu at Saratoga last summer and thought both horses would be something... morespecial. Corfu is already retired and no news from WB's trainer. The WB facebook page is now inactive, so things don't appear to be going well up at Anstu Stables.

|https://www.facebook.com/paul.mcaleavey.1 I said hawk and several others would or should be out and gave reason. If ring runs they should be ashamed, vince too. As far as Vince goes he too was... moreon my list of outs and they will have an ae list this year. Harrys does not belong either and Social inclusion, while he figures to improve, was not pointing to the derby. I would hate to see him in and not prepared. Commanding, I hope gets in.
|kaitlinefree1 i feel like he could be dangerous in the stretch if Social Inclusion, Samraat, Uncle Sigh, & Kristo all battle for the lead.

|jockey2be Will he wear blinkers May 3
|ILuvTurfRacing This comes from the front page of today's AtTheRaces.com web-site via trainer Aidan O'Brien: Unbeaten colt Geoffrey Chaucer could be prepared for a ti... moret at the G1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains(French 2000 Guineas) at Longchamp on May 11th. O'Brien said Geoffrey Chaucer will either go there or the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at Leopardstown on the same day. English St Leger winner Leading Light is being pointed at the G1 Ascot Gold Cup and will begin his season in the Vintage Crop Stakes at Navan. Also headed to Ascot is the former American based Verrazano for the G1 Queen Anne Stakes at a mile according to O'Brien. He ended the interview by saying that War Command and Australia are both well and training great and both will are being pointed at Newmarket for the G1 English 2000 Guineas, which now puts to rest any previous comments I've seen on here about War Command skipping the English Guineas for the French equivalent. If Australia does indeed show up at Newmarket that just put a whole new twist on the Guineas picture for Kingman & Toormore as far as I'm concerned.
