best freshman sire ever?

  • Mark Kennedy via Disqus · How did that work out for you. Lmao · 1 hour ago
Half sister to Exaggerator, will be trained by Todd Pletcher.
Nyquist wins the Derby in Uncle Mo's FIRST crop.. just think about that. It could be very scary what Uncle Mo can do in the years to come.

  • bronzeprincess33 · This is only the beginning for Uncle Mo. His stud fee will skyrocket from here, and deservedly so. · 12 days ago
  • Mark Kennedy via Disqus · I think we need to see how his three yrolds do at longer distances. Certainly a top 2 yrold sire Yes a Ky derby winner but we need to see someone step up a little further in the year. I love uncle mo Look toward to seeing if he can be an all around sire · 2 hours ago
Chantilly (Shawn-TEE), built by the extravagant Count Le Conde who KNEW he would come back in his next life as a horse so he built that palatial paddock. You can really get a chance to see it in the BOND movie "A View to a Kill." Marvelous place and still has the old time grandstand.
Would make sense. Instead of the Belmont.
I was at Chantilly in 1980....what a beautiful racetrack....I hope it is still that way. A Shin Hikari was totally dominant.
QUOTE: 'a race between Wise Dan, Solow and Tepin would have been incredible to see!" Your English teacher failed to teach you that you can ONLY be BETWEEN two things, over that you are AMONG them. the young know more about the stupid cell phone than how to converse with one another. Wise Dan still holds the track record here at the mile and did it EASILY.
Yutaka Take win the Prix d'Ispahan at Chantilly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WH0op1LIm00&index=1&list=PLhTOXejooF5aZV3M46GCRCJdYtarAV6Pq
1 1/8m sounds like a good fair distance. I know 7 horses that I would love to see in the race, they are: Beholder California Chrome Exaggerator Nyquist Songbird Solow (a superstar on turf but he will handle fast dirt no problem) *American Pharoah *AP needs to be brought out of retirement for this one race, train him up and lets see IF he really can beat the BEST of the BEST. :-)
  • reshuffler · No offense to you, but are you crazy? There is no way on this earth the AP would be brought out of retirement. Also, Solow may be a good turf horse, but what even gives you the slightest idea that he would be able to best the top american dirt horses? · 4 hours ago
WOW, this horse is a beast, can't wait to see him at Royal Ascot. Very excited about it. :-D
What a great turf horse this was, what a shame we couldn't see him compete in the BC Mile in 2014 and win his 3rd one!!! Damn, a race between Wise Dan, Solow and Tepin would have been incredible to see!
The rednecks must have loved this horse!!! ha ha
When and where are we gonna see Obviously next?? I am guessing the G1 Shoemaker Mile? the race he won last year.
Has there been any news on him lately?
Mark Casse announces that Catch a Glimpse will face the boys in G3 $500k Penn Mile June 4 at Penn National.

  • Cedar · Fans need to thank Casse for his willingness to try his fillies in tougher spots against the boys. He has some very talented runners in his barn and he has done such a great job with them and he is really rewarding us fans by giving them these shots. CAG isn't the 'flashiest' winner but she sure gets the job done every single time. · 8 hours ago
  • andthey'reoff · I'm mixed on this one. While I think she can beat the boys, I think that the Penn Mile doesn't fit her. If I were team Casse, I'd run her in the Pennine Ridge or the American Derby or possibly the Belmont Derby. My congrats to Penn National though. Also, entries for the Honor The Hero come out Friday. If any of the big horses come, I'll pass that along to you. · 5 hours ago
I was wrong about Destin in the Kentucky Derby. With 5 weeks layoff (instead of 8), I'm picking him again to win the 2016 Belmont Stakes. Destin/Exaggerator/Suddenbreakingnews/Brody's Cause.
  • hoof_hearted666 · Have you ever seen a Belmont field jam packed with closers/deep closers?? Destin could definitely be the pace horse in the race, and if he sets fast but sensible fractions, he could steal the Belmont. But does he have the ability to hold off the late charges of Exaggerator, Suddenbreakingnews and Brody's Cause??? It's doubtful, but not impossible. · 6 hours ago
Has been retired. Per Bloodhorse
Connections should really consider putting Gun Runner in the Belmont, there's no Nyquist to worry about now, and where is the pace in the race?? Gun Runner could lead, and set fast but sensible fractions, he could dominate and steal the race from the front!!! There's a very big prize on offer, and Gun Runner could take the winners share, IF he can hold off Exaggerator in the stretch (which is doubtful, but not impossible). :-)
