Is she retired ?
Praying for a stellar wind baby in the future
*BREAKING NEWS* For any Winx fans with questions about her next race, the C O X plate, or a potential overseas campaign in 2018 please see below: *** WINX MEDIA RELEASE *** "Next start to be at Flemington Racecourse and Victoria Racing Club in the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes on October 7th. To ease speculation on her future beyond 2017, I look forward to the Autumn and a possible trip overseas but at this stage no decision on this will be made until after the George Ryder Stakes in 2018. During her 20 race winning streak, she has raced on 2 occasions in Brisbane, 3 occasions in Melbourne and 15 times in Sydney but obviously internationally racing possesses a great deal of appeal. Providing she is well she will either run during The Championships in the G1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes and look to target a race during the Royal Ascot carnival or be freshened up subsequent to the George Ryder Stakes and be targeted towards a European campaign containing 3 races over a range of distances." Waller also went on to say that Winx is up 10kg from where she was at the 2016 C o x Plate and she came out of last weekend's race in perfect shape. They will also remove the earmuffs for her next start. http://winxhorse.com.au/winx-media-release-20th-september-2017/
What is wrong with this website? Why is this horse rated above an 8, but only won one race so far. Complete favoritism or something, no idea why he is number 1 on this crop, if this is for Kentucky Derby 2018. He won on turf, not on dirt. This website needs more effort put into it.
Are they copying the Kitten's Joy playbook? https://www.thoroughbredracing.com/articles/son-galileo-who-has-made-flying-start-his-us-stud-career/
Question! Is Blame considered to be a multiple graded stakes winner?
Has this horse been retired? Last heard possible shoulder fracture.

Irish war Cry worked yesterday 5 furlongs in 100.20 by himself for the first time to which GRAHAM said that shows that the colt is maturing. He said this was the most pleased he has been for the colt getting ready to enter a big race. Hoping bigs things for him. I know it will happen , i just dont know when.
From this morning's Racing Post web-site: Prix Morny & Prix Robert Papin winner, Unfortunately, has been bought by Cheveley Park Stud in private deal with previous owners Jeff Laughton and Elaine Burke, but will remain in the yard of trainer Karl Burke. The announcement was made on Tuesday evening by Cheveley Park Stud managing director, Chris Richardson.
To ruffianlover I'm totally new to these forum things but I have gone down through the comments for the last 12 months on this subject and I am totally intrigued by nearly all of your comments on how much common sense is in all of them. I'm from the bush in the land of oz and I don't have facebook or twitter or whatever else is supposed to be the in thing, I still don't even know how to work this thing properly but have a passion for horse racing and would love to get a few tips on how to have a chat with you through this site or some other way. I know that asking on here isn't probably the best way but I got no idea how to do it otherwise. Guarantee I know more about horse racing than how to do this stuff.
It is given that if a horse win the 3 boggest dirt races in a year ($12mil, $10mils and $6mils), the HOY is locked!! What about winning 2 out of 3?
  • Pebbles via Disqus · It depends. That is the truth. Arrogate did all his best running during an 8 week period this year, from January 27th to March 25th. Now, if no one else steps up---if Gun Runner finishes the year without another win and the same happens for Stellar Wind, World Approval and Oscar Performance, then Arrogate can take it home without a BCC win. But the question is whether you leave it in the hands of the voters or decided it yourself... · 17 hours ago
I'd like to see to see Hollendorfer get Jungle Warfare in the FrontRunner if possible. His father Animal Kingdom won it.
  • pointgiven23 via Disqus · Animal Kingdom won the Derby, not the Frontrunner. I would think JW would want to break the maiden first.. Faced some tough company · 1 day ago
Though numbers may be against him.....He is the horse to catch....you'll see.
Let's start by saying...OMG! Out of nowhere...thundering to finish ahead of the projected and much discussed field of proven winners....comes the 80/1 long shot! I'm not much of a betting man....small bets...love to play the field...long shot fun, etc.....but I couldn't believe my eyes when the race was Official and I saw the amount of the Win payoff...$180.60. The race itself, just another claimer....a large field...most not truly known unless you study track and numbers constantly, and then a star is born! Eastern Sky, 3 year old filly out of Invasor (Arg) and Gaily Field dam. 80/1 long shot....unbelievable! A big congrats to the Eastern Sky team and Joseph Martin owner and trainer...job well done!
Decisive from start to finish and up against 2 extremely strong females, Ami's Mesa and Bar Of Gold, Cavalia (a 12/1 long shot in the Presque Isle Masters) took a strong place out of the gate and never stopped coming. A true winner in my book and one of my new favorites!
