  • deirdre.boyne.9 · Sullivan, I agree. I have always thought Motion would click with Margano. Of course, Mr. Tagg did, but it seems to me that the Delacours can not bring out the spark that Mr. Tagg could. Motion just might be able to though. · 12 hours ago ·

Saturday's G2 Temple Stakes at Haydock should tell us alot about how Reckless Abandon will fare at Ascot in the G1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes and/or the G1 King's Stand Stakes next month during the royal meeting. Reckless Abandon puts his unbeaten record on the line at Haydock against older horses for the first time, some of them proven G1 sprinters like Tangerine Trees, Sole Power, & Maarek.

Someone wrote Orb ''deserves rest.'' Heck, these horses are so pampered and lightly-raced they need toughening up not more rest. Years ago when 3-year-olds raced much more frequently at 2 and 3 they remained healthy through their 4-and even 5-yeard old racing years.

I've been looking for a video of a performance of FOURSTARDAVE from maybe 1992, 3 or 4, where he went down on one knee, got up and won, then DQ'd.
Anyone else feel like this horse should be rested instead of being run in the Belmont? I dunno, I just feel those big legs of his need a rest....and being by Unbridled's Song I feel like caution should be taken with him?!
