The way that race played out Honor Code would've won that from waaaaaay back.
DAMN!! That turn of foot!!! Thought he was done at the quarter pole, but he flew home, very impressive!!!
He looked like he he idling on the far turn, he looked dead at the top of the stretch. I'm so happy he kicked it into gear late
Yes!!!! Tonalist wins the Cigar mile!!
Won fourth straight stakes win at Woodbine with the Kingarvie.
In watching todays Remsen and recent 2 year old Stakes Races. My opinion of this crop to date , has not changed. In looking at the horses based on Speed figures, this remains a very very slow bunch of 2 year olds. If i try and compare speed figures from previous crops, todays class is only worthy of Allowance Race figures. That being said, and it looks as though 2016 just may be the year. The year that not running as a 2 yr old JINX , will finally be broken. I have faith that there has to be fast horses that have not made their debuts yet. If there are not, and none pop up. Then the best we will be able to say,is that a horse had to win the Derby.
Iron Fist, Dortmund, Imperative.
Since it started raining at Aqueduct could that change the outcome of the Cigar Mile possibly?
Forever Unbridled over Carrumba by a nose.
Kiaran McLaughlin tells DRF's David Grening that he was very very impressed with Mohaymen today and can't wait to see what the future holds for him. McLaughlin says as long as Mohaymen comes out of today in good shape, he will ship to Palm Meadows in Florida tomorrow and could make his three year old debut in the G3 Holy Bull at the end of January at Gulfstream, according to DRF
I'd love to see them try him on turf.
Irad Ortiz, Jr. says Lewis Bay was green in her easy Demoiselle score -- could be a scary filly for future competition.
