Forget what I said earlier about the Awesome Again being a close race. With their respective post positions, Chrome will break like a bullet and move out trapping Dortmund. Even with blinkers, expect a poor break by Rafael Bejarano on Dortmund. Locking in the Chrome/Hoppertunity exacta!

Looks like the best two year old field so far this year for males.
  • Stay Thirsty via Disqus · And now all of them are scratched, except for Thirst For Victory, JS Choice, and Oscar Performance. No value in this race anymore. · 40 minutes ago
Awww Tamarkuz is scratched :(. He will hit the board in the BC Dirt Mi. 1st- JOKING, by daylight devouring the hot pace horses. 2nd- Holy Boss 3rd- Weekend Hideaway
Quezon wins and upsets Wavell Avenue who finishes a game 2nd.
It still is a worthy G1 field. 1st- OFF THE TRACKS 2nd- Penwith 3rd- Going For Broke 4th- Paola Queen 5th- Forever Unbridled 6th- Rachel's Temper 7th- Tiger Ride.
WOW!!!!!! This field is way way way better than the Pacific Classic, if all of these remain on track.
  • Stay Thirsty via Disqus · LOL. Never mind. The 2 best American active horses not named California Chrome, Frosted, Flintshire, or possibly Effinex are not running here. · 1 hour ago
Why not right? Just for fun I'm betting on Hoppertunity!! California Chrome 2nd, Win The Space 3rd. No. California Chrome 1st, Hoppertunity 2nd, Win The Space 3rd.

how is this a G1 field?
I love this filly! Wish her winning streak could have continued, but she ran well regardless. Fingers crossed for her next race!
Is Dortmund a better Horse than Chrome? Not in this lifetime he is not. But come Saturday,he will have his best chance to beat Chrome. I say this because i use intent as the barometer. No way will Chrome be pushed or has even been trained to lay it all on the line. He has bigger fish to fry. For Dortmund this is his BREEDERS CUP. He must show he belongs. He will lay it all out.
Bob Baffert announces that G1 winner Hoppertunity will scratch from the Awesome Again and instead will run next week in the G1 Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont Park.
Isn't she pointing to the Beldame?
Will she be in the Beldame?
Speightster has been retired from racing, will stand a WinStar Farm in 2017.
Outwork has been retired from racing and will stand at WinStar Farm for 2017, fee will be announced at a later date.
IMO, you run at your best distance in the BC. Clearly, 1 mile is his best. He runs like a monster off lay-offs so hopefully they rest him. Plus, no one is touching CC or Arrogate in the BC Classic. It's all West Coast.
  • Pebbles via Disqus · If Chrome does not run his race and Arrogate bounces or otherwise cannot duplicate his top form, there is no reason to think that Frosted or Beholder might not win. · 4 hours ago
