Queens Plate winner Lexie Lou entered in the G3 100,000 Autumn Miss Stakes at SA on Saturday, Corey Nakatani will ride
wow, it's going to be hard to choose who i want to win between lucky player, american pharoah, Mr. z, carpe diem, and souper colossal.
he is for sure going to the breeders cup sprint.
Cyber Secret returns a winner! He won by a nose over Paris Vegas
Hey goblin and Exterminator, this may be the horse you were dreamin' about this spring :) http://www.breederscup.com/article/bronzo-qualifies-bc-dirt-mile-chile

  • amino998 · At least Bronzo doesn’t have to face your Tonito M., Exterminator. I remember you were hoping they’d be conservative with him. Also feel confident in saying, before a single dollar has been bet, Bronzo will be a longshot :) · 4 hours ago
  • Exterminator · I'm glad they've done a great job with him. He finally put it together in the OK Derby after placing in a couple good races. I wonder if he'll show up on the BC undercard. I believe there is a stake on that Sat. going 7/8. · 3 hours ago
If he improves even slightly he is going to be handful in the TC - Main Sequence, the presumed favorite, does not have a brilliant turn of foot, he wears down the competition (to his credit), competition that is roughly the same sort that HC just beat. It's worth noting that HC finished stoutly and was pulling away at the wire. If HC gets the jump on MS, MS will have to run the race of his life to get by him, imo. Hardest Core figures to be 10-1 or thereabouts. His biggest threat could be from a Euro who closes fast.
I expect them to try the turf he has an exceptionally high leg action and his breeding is certainly concurrent with that theme.
  • mak via Disqus · unlikely. With the talent on dirt he has shown i doubt it.Besides, the money is on dirt, not turf. · 3 hours ago
Jockey Kent Desormeaux, who has not ridden since Sept. 28 after being kicked in the chest during a post parade, will return to riding on Sunday at Santa Anita. Desormeaux, 44, suffered a collapsed lung and fractured ribs on his left side when he was kicked after being unseated from his mount in a post parade. Desormeaux was hospitalized for two days because of his injuries. Article on DRF
Didn't get as much attention as the other recently retired Stonestreet mares, but Kauai Katie has been retired as well, according to a blog post today by Stonestreet.
How about a Graham-Graham exacta in the BC Turf? We can call it the Graham Cracker bet! Graham Motion and Edward Graham, trainers of Main Sequence and Hardest Core, respectively.
Expect a full field or 13 or 14 for the mile this year, now that Wise Dan's running, it has become so wide open, it's anyone's race
  • Mike in SB · Unless I am mistaken because of the short run to the turn, the Mile is limited to 12 horses. But you are right it should be a full field and a great betting race. I am looking for a European winner this year. · 4 hours ago
yay! I love this horse I hope he stays sound
Tonalist wins and he is HOY.
  • ekindy · Unless Main Sequence wins. 4 straight G1 wins including a BC Turf against Europeans would be a far better record than what Tonalist can show. · 6 hours ago
  • Sullivan · Main Sequence could set a WR in the Turf and win by 100 and would still not be a finalist for HOY · 4 hours ago
The 2014 Report of Mares bred is in and Kitten's Joy led all North American sires with 204 mares covered - http://jockeyclub.com/default.asp?section=Resources&area=12
This is one is a classic example to demonstrate how foolish it is to predict winners before track conditions and post positions are known. Bayern should win by open lengths if we get another day like last year's BC Friday. But if he gets an outside post even in those conditions Moreno could hold him off. And if we get a "fairer" track then CC, SB, or Tonalist could all realistically win it depending on their posts. And I see at least four others who can realistically pull an upset if the others I mentioned all pull unfavorable posts and others do their best to make it hard for them to get loose. All in all it should be an exciting race both for pure fans and handicappers, because even though SB and CC will be over-bet this will be a competitive race.
  • Sullivan · Or if one has been paying attention all year they will recognize that Bayern has absolutely no shot due to the fact that he cannot get 10f against horses who can, he cannot provide strong back to back efforts, and he is facing several other speed horses as well as pressers. · 5 hours ago
Keeneland and The Red Mile, a Lexington harness track, have officially agreed to consolidate historical racing machines in one facility that will be built at The Red Mile. The announcement was made Oct. 22. Earlier talks were geared toward having one Lexington facility for wagering on historical racing, but Keeneland later announced it would build its own facility. That was before Keeneland learned it would host the 2015 Breeders' Cup World Championships. Article on Bloodhorse
With Beholder out, I think that she will assume the role of favorite for the BC Distaff, and has a real good shot to win, she's looked great over SA, and I think she's gonna run the race of her life next Friday
Declaration of War will stand at Ashford Stud in 2015, fee to be announced at a later date.
Breeders' Cup ought to be renamed the Bleeders' Cup. Nearly every horse entered will be running on Lasix. That is awful.
  • ekindy · That doesn't mean they're bleeders, it means they are trying to level the playing field. Which needs to stop of course, it really is to the point where the major racetracks have to just say no Lasix for anyone, and bleeders will have to stay home. · 6 hours ago
Not sure how to let you know what I read online, Jockey 2be. But was on the HrTV site this morning for the BC this morning so am posting under WR. You can go to their website, hrtv.com. It says they will give a free month. You said you dont have them on TV but if you can do this you should get to see all the BC and other stuff as well for a month onlline. It says use code TRYFREEBC. Hope this works for you, you are a great fan and I hope you get to see everything. Worth a shot.
