Zenyatta captures the 2009 Milady Zenyatta, the undefeated champion older female of 2008, may race into 2010 before being bred, trainer John Shirreffs said on Thursday.

Zenyatta could run once or twice early in the year, probably at Santa Anita, before being sent to Kentucky for breeding.

I would also like to see Zenyatta finish up undefeated, but it would also be great if her connections stepped out of the box and took a shot at the BC Classic. The only way she faces Rachel is away from California.
That would be awesome. If that's the case, the matchup would happen as both would have nothing to lose. Rachel would have her Horse of the Year award, and Zenyatta would have her perfect 14 in a row, eclipsing Personal Ensign's record. At that point I think both camps would go for it...
I hope Zenyatta finishes up the year undefeated and races on into 2010. If that were to happen maybe we'd finally get that elusive matchup between her and Rachael.
