Eskendereya powers to victory in the 2010 Fountain of Youth at Gulfstream Zayat Stables has agreed to sell all of grade I winner and probable Kentucky Derby favorite Eskendereya this year under a bankruptcy reorganization plan that projects all creditors will be paid in full by the end of 2014.

What the Nation is saying about Zayat Plans to Sell Eskendereya...

Yeah Medlocke, I'll never forgive or forget that...screwed me out of my big chance to see Zenyatta...I sure as hell don''t want to see him get Esky
Good point. He could be one of the most desired stallion prospects in a few years.
A Derby favorite by one of the world's hottest stallions. Bidding could get very interesting here.
To expand just a bit further on my comment about whether or not Jess Jackson is interested in buying Eskendereya or not? If he does buy Eskendereya, he'll probably insist that the Kentucky Derby be pushed back a week for Eskendereya to train, and then not show up with him. LOL.
Too bad that Zayat has to sell a top caliber 3yr.old prospect like Eskendereya. Especially with the 2010 Kentucky Derby just right around the corner, and Eskendereya likely to be the Derby favorite. But I read on a web-site recently that Jess Jackson was trying to buy Eskendereya? I don't know if he's still interested in the colt or not? But I'd rather see anyone but Jackson end up with this colt. All we'd have then would be another really promising 3yr.old with a lot of class, who's owner has absolutely none at all. IMO.
I would be more interested in plans to sell Zayat.
No chance this horse races at 4 now, unless Jess Jackson buys him.
Wha!!! Can I get a few shares in him, please?
