Wise Dan in an Eclipse Award Sweep

What the Nation is saying about Wise Dan in an Eclipse Award Sweep...

I agree that W.D. is very good, but to sweep all three catagories was a surprise, Little Mike did what no Americcan horse has done on the Turf in quite some time and deserved some recognition, but once again those that have the power to vote never seem to not surprise us, maybe it's time they change the way the voting is done the same way they changed how to qualifiy for the K.D.. I also want to give a shout out to Fort Larned who should have been Older Male but then again who am I. that is left to those that seem to struggle with the opportunity they are given to cast a vote with some meaning and seem to struggle with the task at hand. Time for "Out with the old and in with the new" Fresh eyes are needed and those that no longer get excited with their opportunity to cast a meaning full vote seem to not put as much into their thought process based on the past few years and the strange winner's of Eclipes Awards that leave alot of us saying Hmmmm..........
Eclipse voters look for several things CONSISTENCY, CLASS, ADAPTATION, and taking on all comers. They ACTUALLY applaud a horse taking on the best and NOT winning versus the new group of stakes winner who hide out in powder puff races.
I have always been a Wise Dan supporter, but I must admit, I was a little surprised with the ease in which he swept the evening.
