All over the world
Twenty-four hours a day
Horse racing is unfurled
What more can I say?
The competition is contagious
The pageantry majestic
With decorum that’s never outrageous
Makes the ambience electric
The owner, the jockey and the trainer
All these play their part in this story
With the goal of winning a no brainer
This cannot happen without the horse in all of its glory
Where else can a handicapper and some luck
With one winning ticket I suppose
Go from a commoner to a king, with a buck
And on this I must close
One thing is for sure
No matter the season
The sport of kings with all of its allure
Any from above would suffice as my reason
