What the Nation is saying about Derby Graded Earnings Update - April 18...

WATCH careful the way STATELY VICTOR how he won the Blue Grass. He was ridden hard to Paddy O'Prado, he start lenghting his stride once he got the lead. His sire Ghostzapper one of the best mile and quarter horse of all time. I going to bet a exact box Dublin Homeboykris & Stately Victor. $200 to win Homeboykris.
Will I bet him in the Derby? No. But, he did run second to Eskendereya twice, and he is going to be, quite possibly, the shortest price favorite since the 20 betting interest field began. IMO, that makes him very deserving of inclusion in the field.
Jackson Bend is a Miller at best. Could be a LOST IN THE FOG type of horse who need to race with in his true ability
Homeboykris winning the Derby? That's not a dream, it's a nightmare!
I dreamt repeatly that Joel Rosario wode ride homeboykris in the Derby and won. I did dreamt that Mike Smith won the Derby also
Really? Why? I give him zero chance to win. He's a very nice horse, and probably the 10th most talented out of the 20, but with his running style and lack of distance breeding he has no shot. Why not wait and run him in the Preakness, Dwyer, Jim Dandy and all the Grade 2 races across the country. A very nice horse that doesn't need to be ruined with a Derby start.
It will be a shame if Jackson Bend doesn't get in.
