Who Am I???

*I won just a shade under half of my lifetime starts in my three-year racing career.

*Bred in Kentucky, I was the best son of a Kentucky Derby winner.

*In one of my finest races, I carried 126 pounds and was beaten by an all-time great by a head.

*I ran in the entire Triple Crown, and was victorious in one of the three.

*My final career race took place in the Cornhusker State.

*I won twice as many times as I finished 2nd, and I was 2nd twice as many times as I finished 3rd.

*My career featured multiple stakes wins in each of my three seasons.

*I was not a champion as a three-year-old, but I beat the champ in our only meeting, although that was as a juvenile.

*More of my wins came at the Fair Grounds than any other track, including four of my stakes wins.

*I was my Eclipse Award winning jockey‘s only winner in any of the Triple Crown races.

*My career as a stallion was somewhat undistinguished, but I was the broodmare sire of a European champion.

You should know by now … Who Am I ???

LOL! Always be plugging.
Keep trying Sue!
I missed it in more ways than 1 and would've said Real Quiet....
LOL! Always be plugging.
That went quick! Congratulations to the winner
Looks like we just had our first ever commercial break here on Who Am I???
Hmm...well, big thanks to "The Nation" for checking out my brand new blog "Big A Confidential". And thanks to you and the rest of the oustanding HRN team for allowing me the opportunity.
It's all good, Joe ... Ernie does not want to win that way.
In all seriousness, I probably ought to recuse myself. I really didn't think about the conflict of interest beforehand (only 'cause I didn't think I'd actually get it right). I file an objection against myself, and I hope the stewards take me down and give the win to E-train. He deserves it.
Haha, yes ... Well done Joe. Your name goes up on the Hall of Champions. Congrats!!! Would you like to thank anyone at this time?
LOL! You invited me, so I assumed yes.
Let's not get too cocky just yet, Joe ... it's only one win for you. ;-) Are HRN correspondents even eligible???
I was so excited I said it ten times ;-) Whoo-hoo! We kept it in the family, Brian. I'm thinking we should turn this into a "Win Ben Stein's Money"-like gimmick, where team HRN takes on the fans for trivia bragging rights every week. Fair Grounds success was the key hint for me. I was looking for horses who pulled off the New Orleans-Lousiana Derby double, and he fit. Oh, and sorry E-train. Getting beat by a bob for the 2nd straight week. Ugh!
Seconditis, Ernie??? Joe, what nailed it down for you?
Now I'm Jacques Who. This just isn't right.
I kid you not, Big Ern!
Oh you've got to be kidding.
Master Derby is the one!!! Way to go Joe!
