Who Am I ???

Who Am I ??? 615 X 400

*I began my career racing exclusively on one coast, and finished it running only on the other coast.

*As a three-year-old, I was not a champion although I did split decisions with that year’s champion.

*I was undefeated on the grass, but that surface was not what I was best known for.

*Having me in either spot of the exacta was a good play; I finished first or second at a very high rate.

*I was a stakes winner in three out of my four seasons of racing.

*My final eight victories were achieved at six different distances and two different surfaces.

*Churchill Downs recognized me for a former track record I held there.

*My racing results allowed me to be rewarded with the ultimate racing honor.

*You could say that I was a shoe-in for all of my races during my final year of running.

*My longest winning streak remained intact into retirement.

*If you can figure out the first part of my name, the second part should be no problem at all.

You should know by now … Who Am I ???

One of he biggest monsters I ever saw up close. Was able to see my old pal again at Claiborne in his twenties. DId it all on the front end. Took on all comers, carryied big weight and kept going unpreturbed. Went short long grass or dirt. Even had Cougar II dust off all the major competition for him in New York's Fall handicap series as he got sick and could not attend, and since he had handed Cougar his head out West, it made for a perfect year. Whittinghma often said that this one was he best by far.
ACK ACK by a MILE and 3/8ths
Which horse was better Ack Ack or Game on Dude
It said 6 different distances and 2 surfaces....
Ooops that was at differnt distances n ot tracks.
OK, Chris can't play anymore....we'll have to "bench" him for the rest of the season!! Chris you're just too good or Brian is going to have to work a little harder!!
Ack Ack's final 8 victyories were on two different rtracks, not 8.
Brian, this may have helped him.........lol "*If you can figure out the first part of my name, the second part should be no problem at all."
Shoe-in had to mean his jockey was Shoemaker. The quip about the name made me immediately go to Ack Ack especially since he had the 1 mile record at Churchill in the Derby Trial.
Apparently, Chris...you've guessed it!
Billy Joel said it best -- playing against Chris can give you a heart attack, ack, ack ...
I finally had the answer. But was beaten to it.
Yes of course it is Ack Ack, and Chris Miskell has done it again. I feel like I ask this a lot, but ... how did you solve this one so fast, Chris?
Too fast!!
Dang too slow! I really did know this one!
Dang, too fast, I was on the trail of that one, but too fast!
Ack Ack?
Stop it, Chris ... stop it!
