Who Am I ???

Who Am I ??? 615 X 400

*Bred in Florida, I began my career under the famed twin spires of Churchill Downs.

*A winner of half of my starts as a juvenile, my first stakes race came as a three-year-old.

*The combined winning margin of my first two stakes victories totaled exactly ten lengths.

*Once on the Kentucky Derby trail, I did not make it back to Louisville for the Run for the Roses.

*A winner of races from six furlongs to 1 ¼ miles, I was a stakes winner on tracks labeled, fast, good, and muddy.

*My last trainer won a Belmont Stakes with a horse one year younger than me.

*Making it to the track in six consecutive seasons, I won at least one race in each of those years.

*My initial stakes win came in Arkansas, as did my first two attempts in graded stakes racing.

*Never a stakes winner himself, my sire was graded stakes placed. My dam was a multiple stakes winner, though.

*My four biggest career wins all came at the same track in the East Coast.

*Besides my favorite track, more of my victories came in New Orleans than anywhere else.

You should know by now … Who Am I ???

Well, you now have my permanent first guess.
Name These Rivals is not dead. A rotating format begins now!
Hallelujah! But may I add, Stymie and Gallorrette? I was waiting for those two the whole time during The Rivals era.
Big news trivia fans ... I'm bringing back Who Am I ??? tonight!
Just read the thread... I love this game! Don't take it down, please? :).
No problemo.
I appreciate that, Jay!
...so endearing, IMO is, it's not only a game but it's also a salute to the horse at the same time. I personally love it, even though I'm not that good.
Brian, one thing that makes "Who Am I
Haha. Never thought of that. Guess cause I've never been at risk of getting claimed by anyone. :)
@Jay lets make it Maiden Optional Claiming....lol
Me too. I was nowhere near Sham's answer tonight.
People eating out of their hands and then using the mouse is my guess. Piggies.
45 years old and up!
yukichan, are you suggesting a "Maiden Who Am I" I like it. I'd be in the Maiden Claiming $12,500 category.
what is making it stick? Device it self mechanically or in the transmission of the signal to the cpy
I love this game even though I can only claim being close 1x. Always learn something! Maybe a "guest writer", maybe having those who have won before sit out next contest or as Mary says, give folks a head start? Maybe "Theme Week" like Belmont Who Am I or Pre WWI Wonders WAI or European runners WAI or Down Under Wonders WAI (I think I would stand a chance at that one!)
Other suggestion: fix my sticky mouse.
Flat Out last week and I was asleep. He had me at I love Belmont. Missed opportunity.
What? I am finally out of my fog brought on from watching the 20lb .exercise weight that was getting a tooth and you want to change my favorite game? No! Helpful changes, though: 1. In case I take a nap(what happened last week--woke up at 6:17) please give a wake-up call. 2. Blog writers must give a 5 minute head-start. 3. No more of those confusing gender clues; I always think it's a boy first. See you tonight for the same beloved Who Am I?
