Who Am I ???

Who Am I ???

*Bred on the East Coast, my sire once defeated a great one via disqualification.

*Undefeated as a juvenile, I won by an average margin of nearly eight lengths in the five races.

*My first stakes win took place at a track that no longer hosts live racing.

*In that initial stakes victory, I ran almost two full seconds faster than the winner of the other division.

*A winner of 60% of my races, perhaps my best known race was a narrow loss in fast time.

*The jockey that piloted me to most of my wins was related to a Triple Crown winner.

*My first five career races came at three racetracks in the same Eastern state … it was not New York.

*I was once beaten in a Grade 1 race at odds of 1-5, finishing third to a future Kentucky Derby winner.

*I competed in the Run for the Roses the year after my stablemate won it.

*The second of my two trainers won the Kentucky Derby more than once.

*My only grade 1 win came in the Old Line State.

You should know by now … Who Am I ???

@amino...hahahaha..just realize that..I guess I am on LSD :-)
Entering the fray a week late just seemed odd. Doesn't it.
Isn't it*
Isn't understood that I just came on the forum..use some common sense. Where would I go to see "Who Am I"? Mars?
Just came on to what, LSD? :)
Just came on and the first clue point me to Secretariat DQ in the champagne and the winner of that was Stop the Music but would have take me some time to look through his off springs.
It's almost Wednesday night ... you know what that means!
I knew Stop The Music was put up over Secretariat in the Champagne, and Cure The Blues was 5 for 5 at 2.
Here's the full story of Cure the Blues and Jockey RUDY Turcotte ---> http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1124348/
Congrats to skipaway200o. Too tough for me. Would have never guessed Laurel Futurity for the gr.1.
Congratulations to our own Candice Curtis! How did you solve this one, Candice??? And for the record ... I did not slip Candice the answer at Saturday's Spiral Stakes.
yesss! a girl from the home of the blues knows a little about how to cure it!! :-)
Yea Candice!!!!
zatt>>the answer to your question is most likely travel_vic :)
Honest Pleasure
I know the tracks and the jockey ...
Who says only the horse wins the Triple Crown ... It is not Little Bold John, but it is Cure the Blues! skipaway2000 is the winner ... I wonder who uses that handle???
Christopher R.
Little Bold John
Sorry Zipse, I don't know any jockeys who are part horse>>LTR ;)
