Whiskey Romeo

Whiskey Romeo ran his record to 3-for-3 with a win in the $125,000 Marylander Stakes at Laurel Park on Saturday, Dec. 1st. According to trainer Tony Dutrow, "He will recieve 30 days of rest".

Initially, since all 3 races were run in the northeast, one would have thought he'd stay in the Mid-Atlantic and aim for the Count Fleet Stakes at Aqueduct on Jan. 5th. That won't be the case as Dutrow added, "He leaves for Palm Meadows today (Dec. 5th)".

If he will truly be on the shelf for 30 days, then he might train through January for the Hutcheson Stakes in early February?
