Uncle Mo's Dam Brings $1.65 Million

Playa Maya, the dam of 2010 Grey Goose Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Stakes (gr. I) winner Uncle Mo, sold for $1.65 million Nov. 7 during the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky November breeding stock auction in Lexington. M.V. Magnier signed the sale ticket for the winning 10-year-old daughter  of Arch.


Magnier is the son of Coolmore Stud managing partner John Magnier.


Consigned by Craig and Holly Bandoroff’s Denali Stud, agent for Respite Farm, Play Maya finished third in the 2004 Dade Turf Classic Stakes at Ellis Park and the 2003 Lagniappe Stakes at Delta Downs.
