Uncle Mo, Mutuel Field Head Derby Future Wager Uncle Mo, listed at 9-2 morning line, tops the twenty-three individual horses in the first 2011 Kentucky Derby Future Wager Pool, which will be open for wagering February 18-20.

The two-year-old champion won all three of his 2010 starts including the Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Churchill Downs. He is currently working at Palm Meadows Training Center and is expected to make his first start of the season in the March 12 Tampa Bay Derby.

Remsen hero To Honor And Serve is 10-1 along with recent Holy Bull Stakes winner Dialed In.

The 5-2 mutuel field, comprising of all three-year-olds other than the twenty-three individual interests, has always closed as the Pool 1 favorite and is expected to do so again this year.

The Kentucky Derby Future Pool offers win and exacta wagering with all bets a $2 minimum. The pool opens at noon (ET) Friday and closes at 6 p.m. on Sunday. More information on the KDFW, including real-time odds, can be found at www.kentuckyderby.com.

What the Nation is saying about Uncle Mo, Mutuel Field Head Derby Future Wager...

This should be one of the better Future Wager opportunities in years, if you are willing to take a shot against Uncle Mo. I'm not sure what morning line maker Battaglia is thinking at 9-2. Realistically, if Mo is 3-1 or 7-2, and the field is 5-2, that means there will be some great prices. People are also going to dive in on the visually impressive Dialed In and Brethren. I think Jaycito, Gourmet Dinner, Silver Medallion, Stay Thirsty and Sweet Ducky are live at big prices.
