Travers is out for Alternation

The plan from the start was to run a colt named Alternation in the $1 million Travers Stakes at Saratoga.

Those plans have changed. The Aug. 27 Travers, which will be run at 1 1/4 miles, has been replaced by the $500,000, Grade II Super Derby at Louisiana Downs at 1 1/8 miles on Sept. 11.
