Travers Photo Gallery

Eclipse Sportswire was on the scene for the Travers Day festivities and captured the riveting stretch drive between Alpha and Golden Ticket that ended in a dead heat!

Check out the images from Willy Beamin's King's Bishop, his 2nd stakes victory in 3 days, and Contested's romp in the Test!

Travers Day was so exciting, we've got TWO galleries for your to enjoy! The first is a collection of the wonderful images we're used to from Eclipse Sportswire. The second one is a series of cool images captured via Instagram, that trendy photo-sharing app! It gives a whole new look to the historic Saratoga.

many of these shots are taken from slave units and the photographers are no where to be found. Friend Cindy Person won the Eclipse for best shot of the year and told me it was a total fluke. She was taking shots randomly and a baby jumped straight up in the air doing sort of a Lippizaner jump and she got it. This was on Preakness Day http://www.tra-online.com/eclipse_photo_winner_2005.jpg
So much respect for these racing photographers!
love it
Agree, though, nice photos.
More Alpha, please.
