Sunday’s Santa Anita Park Recap – Oct. 20 (5 out of 6)

Early-pressing types dominated on the fast main track. The two turf races included a wire job (8f) and an outside stalk and pounce winner on the downhill course (turf rail at 24 feet).

Rafael Bejarano booted home a pair. Edwin Maldonado and Bruce Headley teamed up for two wins on the card.

Using the Primary-Secondary Ticket strategy on Sunday, I tabbed four Primary winners (Taste Like Candy, Smart N Dreamy, Tom’s Tribute, Angel’s Moon) and one Secondary winner (Diamonddusted). That’s back-to-back consos. This one paid $175.80 and I had it twice.
