Edge to early-pressing types on the fast main track with four horses going virtually wire-to-wire (5.5f, 8.5f, 5f, 7f). A stalker (8f), a pace presser (6.5f), and a patient runner (8f) made up the three firm turf winners.

Martin Garcia, Edwin Maldonado, and Mike Smith each booted home a pair.
