The dogwoods are in bloom in Ohio, as sure a sign of spring around
these parts as today’s opener of the 122-day thoroughbred racing season
at Thistledown.
Cool, cloudy weather is forecast for the first
of eight live races, which leaves the starting gate at 1:20 p.m. For
the fans who have been anxiously awaiting live thoroughbred racing
