I tend to agree but it seems Pamplemousse has a high cruising speed similar to Silver Charm. The Santa Anita Derby will be a great test of his ability to finish strong after being pressed most of the race. Got a feeling this one is going to prefer a dirt surface in the end.
The Pamplemousse was visually impressive in the Sham... but I'll bet against the fact he can go 1 1/4 miles, on dirt, under pressure...
