Mario's Way of Giving Back in BC Derby

Mario's successful year winning both Kentucky Derby and Preakness came with a price of sacrifice and commitment. Glen Todd is credited for his success as he helped fulfill his dream.

This Sunday September 9th, Mario Gutierrez will attempt to return the debt for owner Glen Todd (North American Thoroughbred Company Inc.) in the British Columbia Derby (Can-III) at Hastings Racecourse. He will be on board m/l and likely heavy favorite Taylors Deal, a 3-year old Gelding that has a very well 4 (3-1-0) this year and 8 (5-2-0) lifetime record. His last 5 workouts, 3 of them bullets, were all at Hastings.

A first time BC Derby win for Glen Todd in his racing hometown will be Mario's way of saying "thank you."
