The Bernardinis are Coming: Wilburn Works

Our first Bernardini worker, as Wilburn (colt; Bernardini - Moonlight Sonata by Carson City) went 3 furlongs in :36.80 at Turfway Park. This was his third official work. He also worked 3 furlongs at Turfway on December 31 (in :36.00) and on January 27 (in :38.60). Wilburn sold for $75,000 as a yearling, and is out of grade III winner Moonlight Sonata, who won the Arlington-Washington Lassie (gr. III) at 2.
