The 2011 Stallion Poll has been closed and the winners are:

Thanks to everyone for voting. I should have the pages with their
current named 2-year-olds updated by next week. For those new to the
blog, this means that these stallions will be the focus of the blog for
the coming year, and most of the North American Maiden Special Weight
entries for their offspring will be previewed. I will also note works,
especially first works or new works by horses not mentioned previously
in the blog. For convenience sake, the blog is North American-centric,
although, there will be some mention of European entries. In addition,
although these stallions determine which races are chosen, I will
discuss each horse in the race (as evidenced below by the previews for
the 3-year-old races). I will continue to follow the 3-year-olds by the
2010 stallions (Bellamy Road, Bernardini, Bluegrass Cat, Henny Hughes,
and Rockport Harbor), until the 2-year-old races begin...
