Team Valor's Latest Import Is Straight Out Of The Black Stallion

The Black Stallion's Filly

Team Valor is known for importing good foreign-bred horses for racing in the U.S. Their latest acquisition is the 2-year-old filly Black Elegance, who made us do a double-take when photos showed up on the Team Valor Facebook page last week. The filly definitely lives up to her name, and brought to mind the classic Walter Farley series, The Black Stallion. She is a stakes winner in Italy, having just won the Premio Mantovani at San Siro.

Check out this beauty, coming soon to the U.S.!

She is a pretty girl. And Team Valor she does have black in her lineage, Giant's Causeway has it thanks in part to his maternal grand sire Rahy. And this is in part thanks to Rahy's dam Glorious Song who is by Halo who is black.
what a lovely filly. cannot wait to see her run on American turf.
She's gorgeous! But then, I always was a fan of the Black Stallion series. ;-)
Is this the horse who ran in Italy the other day for Team Valor?, They said they were bringing that one to the USA also.
Footstepsinthesand — All Elegance (IRE) Did not see The Black in her lineage :D
