TVG Adds Santa Anita to Fall Broadcast Schedule

TVG, America’s Horseracing Network, will add the upcoming 22-day Santa Anita Autumn race meet to its broadcast schedule, with coverage available to the most homes in the track’s fall meet history.

The meet, which starts today and runs through November 3rd, features 10-graded stakes races, five of which are scheduled on Saturday, September 28th.  Champion two-year-old filly Beholder, highlights the G1 Zenyatta Stakes and fan favorite Paynter is scheduled to run on the card as well.

“We are very excited to be televising the Santa Anita Autumn race meet,” said TVG Vice President of Marketing Don Scott.  “Showing Santa Anita on TVG around the country will continue to increase exposure for California racing.”

TVG widely distributes horse racing to over 40 million homes and includes major programming blocs on a number of Fox Sports affiliates, including FSN Prime, FSN West and Fox Sports San Diego.

TVG account holders can wager on all Santa Anita races by visiting TVG.com and www.4NJBets.com.

TVG, a subsidiary of Betfair Group plc, the premier e-gaming betting community, is among the most widely distributed horseracing networks in the world. TVG is one of the largest legal online gaming companies in the US, accepting over $700 million in wagers in 2012. The company has demonstrated its commitment to the racing industry, its owners, tracks and fans through sponsorship of several preeminent races including the TVG Pacific Classic and the TVG Jockey Club Gold Cup.
