Super filly is the class of Queen's Plate field

The Queen’s Plate, to be run for the 150th straight year Sunday at Woodbine, is known as Canada’s Kentucky Derby.

But the presence of super filly Milwaukee Appeal — a five-race winner who probably will be the betting favorite—gives the $1 million first jewel of Canada’s Triple Crown something in common with last month’s Preakness at Pimlico in Baltimore.
