Winning $1 Trifecta tickets they proposed in the book ranged from $32 to the highest at $120 as they show above. LIke to build my own tickets anyway so for me the value was more in the analysis than in the suggested wagering recommendations. Not sure I would have been as convicted about Palace Malice on top before reading the analysis.
I think the cheap ticket cost $250 and won about $450, the other tickets hit the tri 3 times, so they paid ok also.
Grandpa always said if you cant afford to hit the "All" button in a super for the 4th spot, dont play it!
I think the prices of the propsed tickets are very expensive. Now if they can narrow it down to 5 horses and just use those in the exacta's and trifecta's, I would consider that real handicapping! Did anyone purchase the system for $37 and did you play any of the winning tickets they came up with? If so, what was your net profit after playing the tickets?
Good eye gelded. The 6 horse box to hit that tri would have cost $360. Not even worth the gamble in my opinion.
I don't know if hitting a ~$450 trifecta is actually crushing a race. Plus, when you add in the seed money to make the $450, you're looking at even less of a crush. The flaw in your system is illustrated by the previous poster as you would have never hit the super, which would have been crushing the race.
Zipse super bomb!
Yeah incogniito was a toss to them..
I guess there was no chance of hitting the superfecta with your system. Since you tossed Freedom Child because he raced in the Peter Pan, Incognito could never have been chosen by you since he raced in the same race and could never be considered. How about coming up with some 10 cent super strategies and include the rest of the field in slot # 4 so that there's always a chance to hit that super?
