Early-pressing types dominated (3 wire jobs) on the fast main track. A pace presser (8f), a stalker (6.5f), and a closer (9f) made up the three turf winners (rail at 15 feet).

Saul Arias and Mike Smith both booted home a pair. Bob Baffert saddled two winners on the card.

Using the Primary-Secondary ticket strategy on Saturday, I tabbed three Primary winners (Bayern, Sheza Smoke Show, Jeranimo) and one Secondary winner (Avare).
