Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens will ride 2012 Breeders’ Cup Classic runner-up Mucho Macho Man in the Grade I, Win and You’re In Awesome Again Stakes at Santa Anita a week from Saturday, Sept. 28, agent Craig O’Bryan said Friday.

Mucho Macho Man is ticketed for a return engagement in the $5 million Classic at Santa Anita on Nov. 2, should all go well.

Absent from the races since Aug. 3 when he finished third in the Grade I Whitney Handicap at Saratoga, Mucho Macho Man is scheduled to work five furlongs at 6:30 Saturday morning on Santa Anita’s main track, trainer Kathy Ritvo said.

A 5-year-old bay horse by Macho Uno, Mucho Macho Man has a 6-5-6 record from 21 career starts, with earnings of $2,440,410. He was beaten a half-length by Fort Larned in a stirring stretch duel in last year’s Classic at Santa Anita.

Sumpin’ like dat :D >> Gotta get back to rescuing and wringing out Mexicans, Good luck tomorrow.
What will they have,a magnetic gizmo to counter act the buzzer.
Are you handicapping or jock-riding? Guilliot/Ortiz may have a surprise when Luis comes a calling :)
Did you look at the Parx races tommorrow.I think Dossage boy has a big shot in Coti/PA derb sweep. You know i am on that all the way to the bank.Cotillion looks like only 2 have a strong shot. Dossage boy and Closed Hatches.SoCal Cutie is a little enticing.I hate that the Vyjack Anchor (frenchy Laperoux ) is up. I think My happy Face is a better sprinter than 2 turn horse.I love Dossage in the Derby.Think he lays over the field.Only problem is that he is coming off 2 hole in the wind races.Hope this is not the ultimate reaction.Might throw in ex -Vyjack pilot,Senor Pablo from the wood as the bomb.
Agreed
Snoops, your boy jumped ship after 1 race. WHY?????.i wonder if TTT will run here. Hope you did not blow the Smokey R.O.I in one place. Is Bullet Bob running G.O.D in this race or is he working to Cup.If it were up to me and it is not.I would skip this race and go to the Cup.Speed figure wise,he ran by far his best in last.Needs time to recover. Also if he ran so big here,Bullet Bob may have an empty tank starter in the Cup.
Looks like I owe .tmallios a grand.
I always liked looking at this pick and seeing the big horse with Ramon Up.
