Susan Moulton’s Solitary Ranger, who broke his maiden by 5 1/2 lengths in winning the Arlington-Washington Futurity (G3) in his most recent start, headlines a field of 14 plus two also-eligibles for the Dixiana Breeders’ Futurity.

The Dixiana Breeders’ Futurity is a “Win and You’re In” race for the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) to be run Nov. 2 at Santa Anita.

Trained by Wayne Catalano, Solitary Ranger ran second in two 4 1/2-furlong sprints here in April before resurfacing to win the Arlington-Washington Futurity in his next start. Florent Geroux has the mount Saturday on Solitary Ranger, who will break from post position six.

Also expected to draw attention Saturday is Conquest Stables’ Conquest Titan, winner of the Swynford at Woodbine by 5 1/4 lengths in his debut on Polytrack. Trained by Mark Casse, Conquest Titan will be ridden by Eurico Da Silva and break from post position nine.

The field for the Dixiana Breeders’ Futurity, from the rail out, is as follows: Intense Holiday (Chris DeCarlo), Kendall’s Boy (Garrett Gomez), School On a Hill (Norberto Arroyo Jr.), Laddie Boy (Jesus Castanon), Rum Point (Mario Gutierrez), Solitary Ranger (Geroux), General Jack (Alan Garcia), Pontos (Viktor Schulepov), Conquest Titan (Da Silva), Arctic Slope (Joe Rocco Jr.), Ready for Action (Jose Garcia), We Miss Artie (John Velazquez), Smarty’s Echo (E.T. Baird) and Tiznowforamerica (Julien Leparoux). Also-eligibles: Medal Count (Robby Albarado) and Oogeley Eye (Corey Lanerie). All starters will carry 121 pounds.
