Social Inclusion Works Fast for Wood

Social Inclusion is set to van north to Aqueduct Racetrack for next Saturday's Grade 1, $1 million TwinSpires.com Wood Memorial after breezing four furlongs in 46.80 seconds on Saturday at Gulfstream Park. The move was the second-quickest of 51 at the distance.

The lightly raced son of Pioneerof the Nile covered the first quarter-mile in :23 2/5 seconds and galloped out five furlongs in :59 3/5, according to owner Ronald Sanchez.

"Very easy. Marvelous," said Sanchez by telephone. "He went fast and easy."

It was the third breeze in a week for Social Inclusion, who went four furlongs in 49.34 last Saturday and three furlongs in 35.42 on Wednesday.

Sanchez said Social Inclusion will depart Gulfstream at 5 a.m. on Sunday and is scheduled to arrive at Aqueduct around 5 or 6 a.m. Monday. He'll gallop up to the TwinSpires.com Wood Memorial at Aqueduct.

Social Inclusion has posted a pair of dominant wins in two starts at Gulfstream, posting a 7 ½-length victory in a six-furlong maiden event on February 22 and a 10-length score over graded stakes winner Honor Code in a 1 1/16-mile allowance on March 12
