Saturday’s Santa Anita Park Recap – June 28 (5 out of 6)

Three horses went virtually wire-to-wire (6.5f, 6f, 7f) on the fast main track. The lone downhill turf sprint was nabbed in wire job fashion, and three stalkers and a closer made up the four flat mile turf winners.

Tyler Baze, Joe Talamo, and Elvis Trujillo each booted home a pair. Jockey Martin Garcia, Trainer Bob Baffert, and owner Kaleem Shah teamed up for two wins including Declassify in the G1 Triple Bend.

Using the Primary-Secondary Pick 6 formula on Saturday, I tabbed four Primary winners (Parranda, Declassify, Sheza Smoke Show, American Pride) and one Secondary winner (Majestic Harbor). The winning 5 out of 6 consolation prize returned $929.60 and I tabbed it twice.
