Reports of the demise of Southern California training center San Luis Rey Downs may be premature.
The California Thoroughbred Trainers received word on February 16
from Magna Entertainment Corp., which operates San Luis Rey Downs for
parent company Magna International Developments that the facility would
close on March 15.
