Rock Hard Ten Headed to Korea

Rock Hard Ten, a multiple grade I winner who has stood at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky., since 2006, has been sold to stand at stud by the Korea Racing Authority. Bloodstock agent Rollin Baugh handled the sale of the 11-year-old stallion.

Rock Hard Ten (Kris S.--Tersa, by Mr. Prospector) was bred by Madeleine Paulson Pickens and raced for her in partnership with Ernie Moody's Mercedes Stable.

From four crops of racing age, Rock Hard Ten has sired 13 stakes winners. His 10 graded or group winners include 2011 American Oaks (gr. IT) winner Nereid. Rock Hard Ten's progeny earnings are more than $9.4 million. He has six stakes winners this year including graded winners Doubles Partner, Capital Plan, Lady Ten, and Utopian.

Rock Hard Ten's stud fee for 2012 was $20,000.
