Should Dialed In have lost the Holy Bull Stakes on Sunday at Gulfstream,
there were several reasonable excuses he could have used.

behind To Honor And Serve is considered a leading Derby contender.
The
field also included graded winners Gourmet Dinner, winner of the Delta
Jackpot, and Major Gain, winner of the Arlington-Washington Futurity.
Sweet Ducky and Ribo Bobo were both listed stakes winners, while Leave
Of Absence was stakes-placed.
Dialed In broke sluggishly in the
Holy Bull and trailed the field by over 10 lengths early. He remained
well out of it most of the way down the backstretch. When launching his
bid, he was forced to come five wide in upper stretch.
