Researcher Wins Prep for CT Classic

The winner of the inaugural Charles Town Classic in 2009 seems well on his way to making a bid for top honors again this year.

On March 27, Rutledge Farm’s Researcher, in his second start of the year, toyed with five foes in an open allowance test that served as the local Classic prep at Charles Town Races & Slots. Mark Russell’s Russell Road, a nine-time stakes winner at Charles Town, finished second in his second start of the year.
