Seriously, though, even though a lot of people look at him as possible lone speed... the Derby almost always seems to have a good pace. There's just something about that long straight away into the first turn, 20 horses, big screaming crowd, etc. (Yes, I remember War Emblem) But more often than not, there's a solid pace. That being said, Desert Party could be dangerous!
