Racing at Hollywood Park with Marc Doche: Dyrdek’s Weemissfrankie ...

It’s disappointing to see no two-year-old fillies ship in from out of town to chase the $400,000 purse in today’s Hollywood Starlet (Grade I) going a mile and a sixteen on the main track where we have just six runners.

The clear leader of the division in California is 7-to-5 favorite Weemissfrankie, in search of a third Grade I win in her fifth career start and coming off a third-place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (Grade I) over a sticky main track at Churchill Downs five weeks ago.
