One of the hottest jockey/trainer combinations on the circuit can get some separation at the top of their respective standings when they team up five times on Thursday with runners that all have a realistic chance to cross the wire first.
 
Joel Rosario and John Sadler are winning at a 26% clip together in 355 tries over the past two years and through the first week of Hollywood Park’s autumn meet Rosario’s six wins have him tied atop the riding leader board with Joe Talamo and Sadler is two back of Bob Baffert with a pair of training scores.
 
Things get started on the main track for the pair in the second race with 3-to-1 second choice Unusual Hottie, a debuting daughter of Unusual Heat in for a $40,000 tag against Cal-breds, and wraps up in the finale with their longest shot on the line at 8-to-1 with Tiz a Trip, who makes his first start for Sadler after a pair of disappointing tries in Kentucky.
 
Sandwiched between those maiden affairs are 4-to-1 third choice Coluda running 1 1/16 miles against $32,000 claimers in the fourth race, 5-to-2 favorite Los Bomberos looking for his second straight win a race later sprinting six furlongs against $12,500 claimers, and Kettle Corn the 2-to-1 choice in the featured seventh race for second-level allowance optional claimers going 1 1/8 miles.
