I don't agree with the decision, but the eclipse award voter's can still be made to look like the idiot's they are when Zenyatta kick's Rachel's ass on a conventional dirt track, and it will happen. But the biggest miscarriage of justice all night, even caught by the host Kenny Rice, was Steve Assumusen winning trainer of the year over John Shirreffs. He didn't even start training Rachel until after the Ky. Oaks. Shirreffs trained the 09' B.C. Ladies Classic champion and the 09' B.C. Classic champion. Not to sure how you can get much better than that for a training season?

grey32 · If Zenyatta meets RA and beats her by 20 lengths that has nothing to do with Horse of The Year. I stay amazed at the level of dumb, exposed by Zenyatta fanatics. The fact that Zen got 99 votes is a travesty. It's Horse of The Year, the word year is there for a reason. All you pot heads want to do is compare Zen's three years against a 3 yr old filly's one year. Then get snotty because you can't make the rest of the world follow your rules. Why does one horse have to be better then the other, why aren't you taking shots against Curlin or even Secretariat, with the complete lack of understanding you have, why do you even care.
