Quality Road returns in Hal's Hope

HALLENDALE, FL.- FEBRUARY 28, 2009: John R. Velazquez rides Quality Road (VA) during the 63rd running of the Fasig-Tipton Fountain of Youth (Grade II) at Gulfstream Park in Hallendale Beach, FL.

This looked like the Quality Road that won the Florida Derby and the Amsterdam Stakes. He ran with a ton of confidence, and looked like a horse that knew he was just not going to be beaten today. Very impressive return to the track. This is the Quality Road that I said that his best races are still ahead of him. IMO.
Great point, Rossington. In fact, I think the one turn mile is where he can really shine.
Quality Road loves this distance. He also loves Gulfstream Park. I very handily agree with Cigar's assessment that there's no way that Quality Road loses this race. Frankly, I think his only competition in the race will come from Harlem Rocker. JMO.
I just handicapped this race and there is no way he loses. Well, yeah there are.... but he is dead lone speed and can do what he wants from start to finish. Send it in!
Quality Road is definitely the horse to beat, but Harlem Rocker is really interesting as well in these one turn mile situations.
